FERC is granting an extension of time until August 29, 2008 for public utilities, working through NERC, to submit Reliability Standards MOD-001, MOD-008, MOD-028, MOD-029, and MOD-030, and until November 21, 2008 to submit Reliability Standard MOD-004.  FERC is also granting an extension of time until November 27, 2008 to develop, through NAESB, business practices supporting Standards MOD-001, MOD-008, MOD-028, MOD-029, and MOD-030, and until February 19, 2009 to develop business practices complementing Standard MOD-004. In the order, FERC also established a technical conference to address the issues raised by the Midwest ISO’s proposal concerning Reliability Standard compliance and enforcement in regions with non-profit ISOs or RTOs.
