On March 20, 2008, FERC issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (“NOPR”) proposing to approve the Nuclear Plant Interface Coordination Reliability Standard (NUC-1-001) developed by NERC and submitted on November 19, 2007. The NOPR also proposes to accept four related definitions for addition to the NERC Glossary of Terms and directs NERC to modify some of the Violation Risk Factors (“VRFs”) for the requirements in the standard.
