On February 6, 2008, FERC issued an order in Docket No. RR06-1-011 accepting NERC’s October 19, 2007 Compliance Filing which addressed NERC's authority to issue operational alerts and advisories (such as Aurora) to the industry under NERC's Rules of Procedure.
