On November 9, 2007, FERC sent a letter to the House Committee on Homeland Security to respond to an October 17, 2007 letter from the House Committee requesting that FERC immediately investigate whether appropriate steps are currently being taken to protect the nation’s electric infrastructure from cyber attacks.
