On October 23, 2007, the FERC Office of Electric Reliability sent a letter to the Office of Management and Budget (“OMB”) requesting emergency approval for a one-time information collection request the Commission needs to undertake in order to evaluate the steps taken by the electric industry to mitigate a recently identified cyber vulnerability.
